The couplings are indispensable when it is necessary to use reels with cores of a different size than those normally used for production. The couplings or adaptors can be used to adapt the existing shaft to the core of the reel to be processed (from 3” to 12”) rather than to produce a new expanding shaft.
Couplings can be designed and manufactured with diameters from 3”. Standard diameters are 3" and 6". Rubber band pneumatic adaptors are available from 3" to 12”.
